The Tesseract Theatre Company hosts a festival of new works every summer, featuring works from emerging playwrights spanning across the country!

The 2024 Festival of New Musicals will take place over three weekends this July.

MY HEART SAYS GO

A celebration of risk-taking and the power of persistence, MY HEART SAYS GO follows first-generation college student, Indigo, who defies his father and drops out of medical school to become a singer-songwriter. Indigo is accompanied on his journey by a new friend, Clara, who has her own struggles at home.

MY HEART SAYS GO is a celebratory anthem for the next generation and a loving reminder for parents. This new pop musical is about listening to your heart, overcoming obstacles, and never giving up on those you love.

CASCADE'S FIRE

A young woman returns to her old university to investigate the mysterious death of her ex-girlfriend.

Unsure of who to trust and who to help, she finds herself trying to uncover a conspiracy that could burn the whole town to the ground.
